Completion Date:

Project Cost:

$450,000

Project Description:

This new cafe was built-out in a restored existing historic residential hotel on the near west side of Chicago. The kitchen portion of the facility functions as a coffee shop and will serve as a continuation of a training program provided by a previous WLW project - Michael Barlow Job Training Center - which provides kitchen and barista training for the formerly incarcerated. The facility is structured for direct access to the public and is served by its own entrance and outdoor dining area.
