A new building that is a part of a redevelopment for Hispanic Housing Development Corporation turns a derelict block into a new cornerstone for the neighborhood. The 5-story building includes 53 affordable apartments for seniors, in a mix of one and two bedroom units, with community space, an exercise room and covered parking on the ground floor. This new addition to the block picks up themes and details from the facades of the existing buildings in the redevelopment while providing a strong presence on the corner of a busy street.
