Northwestern University Alice Millar Chapel

The Alice Millar Chapel Lighting Improvements project included replacement of all existing lighting and lighting controls within the chapel, as well the addition of new theatrical lighting to spotlight the pulpit, lectern, altar table and organ. New lighting is energy efficient LED, reducing the required maintenance. New lighting was designed to be accessed, maintained and aimed from a catwalk in the attic above the ceiling. New lighting controls provide carefully focused, programmed lighting scenes for the various events and services for which the chapel is used. The project was a collaboration with Maureen Mahr Lighting Design.
