An existing apartment hotel, built in the 1920‘s, was converted into a S.R.O. apartment building for a mental health agency to provide supportive housing for people with mental illness and substance abuse. The existing building apartments were remodeled to include private kitchens and baths in all 44 units. The strong terra cotta “Tudor” facade was carefully restored to bring a great asset to the struggling Rogers Park neighborhood.
